Due to the safety and well being of our students and staff, all school admission tours will temporarily be virtual on days when students are in session.  Saturday tours are limited and available upon request.

Enrollment 

An admissions application must be completed for ALL NEW students. NEW families are encouraged to enroll early to ensure proper placement. A one time application fee of $30 applies.

St. Theresa School uses a rolling admission process in which new applications are reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year. 

 

NEW FAMILIES -  Once your admission application is submitted, it is time to set up your online family SMART tuition account, choose your payment option, and secure your registration fee ($150). https://enrollwithsmart.com/#/enroll/87428

 

Shadow Day (temporarily suspended)

Students who are entering 3rd - 8th grade are required to shadow for all or part of the day.  Students will shadow in the grade they are currently enrolled. An admissions application must be completed, and the $30 application fee is applied.  

 

Request for Transfer of Records for students entering grades 2 through 8

A signed request form should be completed for ALL NEW students transferring from another school, entering grades 2 through 8 (most current report cards, standardized test scores, attendance records, etc.).

Children of parents who are separated or divorced must have consent by both parents for enrollment.

STEP 1: Apply for the Tax Credit Scholarship
Tax Credit Scholarship (TCS) applications through Empower Illinois open January 13, 2021.  In order to apply for financial assistance from St. Theresa School, you must first complete a 2021 application through Empower Illinois for the TCS.   Click here for the Empower Illinois Application

 

STEP 2: Apply on our SmartAid
Once you have completed the TCS application, you can apply for financial assistance from St. Theresa School using SmartAid. Applications must be received by April 1 for first consideration.  SmartAid will open on January 13, 2021 along with the Empower Illinois application.    Click here for the SmartAid application.
 
Re-enrollment for the 2021-22 school year  It's a new year

STS students Entering 1st - 8th grade

All current students will be automatically re-enrolled for the 2021-22 school year.  A non-refundable Registration fee of $125 will be charged on February 17, 2021 via SMART tuition. The registration fee thereafter increases to $150 per student. 

 

Non-returning families please contact the Admissions Office or before February 8, 2021.  

 

STS students entering Kindergarten

All students turning 5 on or before September 1 are now eligible for kindergarten - returning students will automatically be re-enrolled in the full-day kindergarten program.  Morning program (7:35 am - 12:00 pm) is available - Please complete the online selection form if you are requesting morning kindergarten: 

 

A non-refundable Registration fee of $125 will be charged on February 17, 2021 via SMART tuition. 

 

Non-returning families please contact the Admissions Office or before February 8, 2021.

 

STS students turning 4 on or before September 1st and returning for their 2nd year of preschool

Students will be automatically re-enrolled into the same program option. If you choose to change your program option please complete the preschool online selection form.

 

 

A non-refundable Registration fee of $125 will be charged on February 17, 2021 to all returning families via SMART tuition.
