St. Theresa School uses a rolling admission process in which new applications are reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year.

Enrollment 

An admissions application must be completed for ALL NEW students. NEW families are encouraged to enroll early to ensure proper placement. 

 

NEW FAMILIES -  Set up your 2023-24 SMART Account. (Register before January 30 to receive a $25 registration discount.)

Once your admission application is submitted, it is time to set up your online family SMART tuition account, choose your payment option, and secure your registration fee ($150). - CLICK HERE TO SET UP YOUR TUITION ACCOUNT.

 

Shadow Day 

Students who are entering 2nd through grade 8 are required to shadow for all or part of the school day.  Students will shadow in the grade they are currently enrolled. An admissions application must be completed including a copy of your child's birth certificate.

 

Request for Transfer of Records for students entering grades 2 through 8

In order to properly place children according to their skill level, students transferring from another school should request their current school to send student files to St. Theresa.

Records include but not limited to most current report cards, standardized test scores, and medical/vaccination records.

Do you qualify for Financial Assistance? 

 

 STEP 1: Apply for the Tax Credit Scholarship 

 
In order to apply for financial assistance from St. Theresa School, you must first complete an  application through Empower Illinois for the TCS.   Click here for the Empower Illinois Application

Tax Credit Scholarship (TCS) applications through Empower Illinois opens in January. Click HERE for Frequently Asked Questions 

 

STEP 2: Apply on our SmartAid
Once you have completed the TCS application, you must apply for financial assistance from St. Theresa School using SmartAid. Applications must be received by April 1 for first consideration.  SmartAid will open in January along with the Empower Illinois application.    Click here for the SmartAid application.

Re-enrollment for returning families:
 

STS students Entering 1st - 8th gradeSTS

All current students will be automatically re-enrolled for the upcoming school year.  A non-refundable Registration fee of $125 will be charged in February via your SMART tuition account. The registration fee thereafter increases to $150 per student. 

 

To avoid the re-registration fee, non-returning families should notify the Admissions Office prior to February 1.

 

STS students entering Kindergarten

All students turning 5 on or before September 1 are now eligible for kindergarten - current students will automatically be re-enrolled in the full-day kindergarten program.  Morning program (7:35 am - 12:00 pm) is available - Please complete the online selection form if you are requesting morning kindergarten: 

 

A non-refundable Registration fee of $125 will be charged in February via SMART tuition. 

 

To avoid the re-registration fee, non-returning families, should notify the Admissions Office.

 

STS students turning 4 on or before September 1st and returning for their 2nd year of preschool

Students will be automatically re-enrolled into the same program option. If you choose to change your program option please complete the preschool online selection form.

 

 

A non-refundable Registration fee of $125 will be charged in February to all returning families via SMART tuition. 

 

To avoid the re-registration fee, non-returning families should notify the Admissions Office on or before February 1.

 

Medical records including immunization records must be on file in the nurses office prior to the first day of school. Medical records
