First grade is an exciting place to be! Watching students sore as they learn and blossom is amazing at this age! As a first grade teacher, I am committed to ensuring each child feels confident, capable and celebrated! I aim to develop enriching and engaging lessons that stretch the thinking for my students and provide them with a learning experience necessary for academic success!

I love teaching first grade! Being a part of the St. Theresa family and primary team is such a wonderful gift. I enjoy coming to school and seeing the joy on my students faces when they talk about their family and their love for Jesus. They are so excited to learn and I am lucky to be their teacher.

I think every student deserves a learning environment that is fair, positive and supportive. Using the power of thinking, students learn to problem solve and connect content to everyday life.
In my spare time I love to run, play hockey, and spend time with family and friends.

2nd Grade
This is my first year teaching second grade at STS. I am passionate about creating an academic and faith filled environment for my students to thrive in and be inspired by. I believe in creating a classroom that encourages curiosity, kindness, and collaboration, which allows each student to share their unique talents. Outside of teaching, I enjoy running and reading! I’m looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth!

I truly enjoy being a member of this outstanding community. As an intermediate grade teacher, I try to help children draw connections between what they are learning to what they already know and have experienced as well as foster an appreciation and love for our Catholic faith.

Rm. 4
As a first-year teacher, I am so excited to see what my students are capable of. I graduated from STS in 2016 and graduated from Carthage College in May of 2024 with a degree in Biology. I've loved science and the outdoors for as long as I can remember. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, going on hikes, and being with my friends and my dog, Oliver. I can't wait to explore all the various aspects of our world with my students; from the deep oceans to the farthest stars, there is so much to learn, and I can't wait to get started!

Spanish Teacher grades K-5
St. Theresa School is a wonderful place to work. Students in grades K-5 are hungry to learn to a second language!
I enjoy helping my students learn how to communicate in another language, and understand the importance of being bilingual in today's society. For me, It is rewarding to hear them speak Spanish with family and friends!
