Mrs. Nina Losch
Librarian
I'm thrilled to be the new librarian at STS! I have three children one in High School and the other two attend St. Theresa School. I've always loved working with kids, and have had the chance to take on a variety of child-focused roles over the years. After college, I moved from Michigan to Chicago to pursue graduate studies in child developement.
I've had wonderful experiences ranging from developing community centers within Chicago Public Schools to running a home daycare while raising my children. Most recently, I've been a substitute teacher in several school districts as well as right here at STS.
I am so excited for a wonderful year ahead and look forward to a world filled with amazing students, teachers, and of course books!

Mrs. Maureen Hull
Art Teacher
I vividly remember an occasion as a young girl when my mother gave us permission to color all over the family room walls. She was redecorating, and thought it would be a great way for us to be creative, and at the same time, to keep us busy! Perhaps that is where my love of Art began.
I studied English and Art at the University of Notre Dame, and upon graduation, worked in the business world as an editor. It was during this time that I met my husband, Don, and we decided to start a family. Fortunately for me, my husband shared my passion for art, which transferred easily to our seven children. Our house is always full of homemade decorations, welcome home posters and birthday banners.
It has been pure joy for me to combine my love of children with my love of art and fashion it into a teaching career. I am so happy to be St. Theresa’s surrounded by many fine artists.

My favorite part of my job is watching the children grow, becoming more confident and independent throughout the school year. I am originally from NY and my daughter is a graduate of St. Theresa School.

Mr. Nick Sobieszczyk
Athletic Director
I strive to create an environment where our young athletes can develop a strong understanding of the importance of physical education. Through the foundations of athletic programs, students will feel more comfortable participating in sports, understand the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and having fun!
