Dear Parent,

Congratulations to the school bands for a beautiful concert on Tuesday.  Every year each band gets better and better!  Thank you, Mr. Slater, for encouraging our students to practice and perform to their best ability.  Thank you, students, for your hard work and effort!

Many senior citizens stopped to say “Thank You” for a delicious luncheon and special musical program last week.  The 5th graders sang the show tunes to perfection, and the 6th graders hosted the luncheon with grace.  All the adults present were impressed!  Thank you to the parents who helped prepare the food, the fifth and sixth grade teachers who helped the students prepare, and Mrs. Thompson for her musical direction.  Many seniors are already looking forward to next year’s affair.

Next Friday, May 28, the BBC will be at St. Theresa School filming a documentary about Abraham Lincoln.  The company heard that the 7th grade was having a fine arts presentation about Mr. Lincoln and asked if they could be present.  The BBC will also have an opportunity to visit the Civil War Fair, which is a special project 7th grade just completed.  Some of our students may be interviewed and filmed by the BBC.

TERRA NOVA RESULTS

Please look for Terra Nova results today in a plain envelope.  You will also receive a flyer explaining our school’s scores in relation to the national norm.  Our students performed very well in all areas this year!  Congratulations, students and staff!
